Introduction to Safety Management

The Introduction to Safety Management program focuses on knowledge and skills required to effectively deal with safety and health management issues from an individual and organizational prospective. During the five-day course, safety and health systems and organizational structure; work processes and practices; and the needs of and relationships with employees will be explored. The scope, function, and leadership role of the safety and health professional are emphasized. The course addresses management topics such as:
