OSHA Standard CFR 29 Subpart J §1910.147
This course is designed to inform employees about the requirements for lockout/tagout/tryout during servicing and maintenance of machines or equipment. Also covered are the requirements of the OSHA Lockout/Tagout/Tryout Standard, procedures for the application of locks and tags, and a discussion of the types of energy these procedures are designed to control.
Who Needs Training?
All Maintenance Employees, Department Supervisors and Janitorial employees should be trained to use the Lockout/Tag Out/Tryout Procedures. This training program is mandatory for all mechanics and electricians.
